Grand Resources Group is comprised of engineering, geology, accounting, operations, and reservoir professionals. We have over 150 years of combined experience focused exclusively on acquiring, developing, and operating upstream conventional oil and gas assets.
President
I bring over 23 years of hands-on experience and expertise in reservoir engineering and modeling, well completions, equipment design, field operations, secondary recovery design and implementation and environmental compliance. Buying and operating oil and gas wells in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana has given me diverse experience in drilling and completing over 200 horizontal wells since 2002. I have also managed a Department of Energy grant entitled “Enhanced Oil Recovery by Horizontal Waterflooding”. With a passion for innovation and a proven track record in the oil and gas sector, I am committed to staying at the forefront of industry advancements.
I hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Vice President
I have been a part of Grand Resources’ Operation’s Team since 2009. I manage field operations and supervise all construction projects, playing an integral part of oilfield infrastructure, equipment design and installation, managing secondary recovery projects, wellbore recompletions and upstream operations of active waterfloods. I am enthusiastic about leveraging my expertise to contribute to the success of future projects within the dynamic and challenging landscape of the oil and gas industry.
I received my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University.
Founding Chairman
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and have accumulated over forty years’ experience in engineering, exploration, drilling and operational activities. My work began with Amoco Production Company as a production engineer. After leaving Amoco, I joined Robinowitz Oil, a family business, where I managed the exploration and production departments. In 1981, I founded Grand Resources and grew the company through drilling into the late 1980s. It is the combined experience of working with both a large corporation and a small independent oil company that has given me the perspective to build and run profitable exploration and production companies.
My greatest accomplishment was developing novel drilling approaches that saved time and money using underbalanced drilling (UBD) techniques. These techniques in geologic environments where UBD had never been utilized, provided insight that underbalanced drilling could be applied in more diverse situations than previously considered.
Human Resources
I am passionate about fostering a workplace where employees are empowered, engaged, and motivated to achieve both personal and organizational success. By combining my strategic HR expertise with effective office management skills, I am dedicated to contributing to the growth and success of Grand Resources. I am a certified professional with SHRM and have been with Grand Resources for over 15 years.
Production
With over 20 experience years in the oil and gas industry, I play a pivotal role in the Production Department overseeing administrative tasks critical to the success of production operations. My commitment to accuracy, compliance, and efficient coordination makes me an integral part of the team, ensuring the seamless execution of production activities.
Accounting
I have held key roles in financial management and accounting at Grand Resources for over 16 years. I have supported effective resource allocation and strategic decision-making, contributing to the overall success of oil and gas ventures. With a commitment to accuracy, compliance and attention to detail, I am passionate about contributing my expertise to the success of Grand Resources.
